Culver Creek

The boarding school in the novel, Looking for Alaska. The mascot of Culver Creek is the swan. There are basically two groups there, the Weekday Warriors and everybody else. Their signature food is a bufriedo, named by Alaska Young because it is a fried burrito. The have a basketball team, but they suck. The Colonel, a character in the novel, is always getting thrown out of the games on purpose. this is where Miles Halter goes at the beginning of the novel, and stays there thoroughout, to find the Great Perhaps.
