Separating the Major Facts from Nerdfighting. In Your Pants
As the nerdfighters have largely taken over Omnictionary since the events of February 14th 2008, we recognize that Omnictionary will require part of itself to be taken over by the nerdfighters. So a "nerdfighters" portal has been created, to discuss the goings-on of nerdfighteria. Feel free to add to that section. However, the purpose of Omnictionary, to catalog and explain most major facts has not changed.
This separation of the major facts from nerdfighting should be seen as an expansion of the purpose of Omnictionary, not a disregard for either nerdfighting or the major facts.

No way to create accounts In Your Pants
There is no link to create accounts right now. If you try to paste the url which should create an account, you get this error "To be allowed to create accounts in this wiki you have to log in and have the appropriate permissions." Of course, you can't log in without already having an account. While this circular logic is quite humorous, it's also quite frustrating. Please fix it ASAP so we need not nerdfight in anonymity. Thanks!

Not being able to create an account with out logging in? (Did that make sense?) Personally, this is kinda like a test run. I really have no idea what I'm doing. But you know, what is the point of being a nerdfighter if you don't try new things (and don't explode your computer at the same time?)

The Awesomeness of Nerdfighting In Your Pants
Wow, finally a site to release all nerdiness without bother. The account gimmick has to have been fixed by now, cos I made mine. [yayyy.] AN idea is blooming: instead of constantly having to make new subjects, extra on this page [which is fine, just takes a while...] we should create something between msn and skype [cross breeding, whoopee!] so that we can talk quickly with each other and be all nerdfighter-y really quickly. A cause to happy dance. Lets get on with the cross breeding. Ideas, anyone?
I have a feeling if one were to create this hyper-program, then it would be way too loud and uncontrollable. Besides, skype already allows you to conference. Or, if one is dead-set on voice chat, you can always get Ventrilo.

I wonder if the omnictonary will soon be like real estate. I am buying property in my head that I can later "sell" to others. I think inflation will do quite a ways of damage, but I will still be a master of the omnictionary property. Maybe I should make a concrete poem of a house so I can live somewhere... LIKE THE MOON!!!!!!

I don't know if this is where this goes, but this layout really frustrates me.
But anyways, is everything on this supposed to be a lie? BEcause some pages are factual. Like the Finding Nemo one. And that is not equal to awesome, in my book.

- I understand that the layout is hard to follow, but we're still struggling with exactly how this wiki's supposed to be run. And until we get some community support behind some policies and ideas, it'll be difficult to get any kind of organization here. In my opinion, Omnictionary should be set in the Margoverse. This means that pages should only be created if they pertain to the Wiki-Novel. Multiple wiki-novels could be created, but all have to use facts taken from the Margoverse. The Omnictionary:Margoverse can draw ideas from the real universe, but then put a spin on them. For example, if it is generally agreed that Finding Nemo is the best movie ever made, we would write that in the article, and all characters in the Wiki-Novel would have to agree or at least acknowledge that Finding Nemo is the best movie ever made.
- Because the Wiki-Novel is the main focus of the wiki, we really should be working around that. Articles that are relevant to the novel should be created, and only those. There should be discussions, and letters, and more discussions! Matthew Dryden 17:35, 9 June 2008 (EDT)

Case Sensitivity
... didn't realize Omnictionary was such. Like in typing my username if I type 'dftba' nothing works, nor a variation of anything but DFTBA in all caps. Pages matter too. I doubt that an abundance of katherines will work... but An Abundance of Katherines will. :S Sigh.
I've noticed that as well, but it only happens with some pages. I don't understand why that is.
Example:
John Green and john green are fine.
Chuck Norris and Chuck norris are two different pages, which is very peculiar and particularly annoying when thinking someone edited like crazy.
